The ideal candidate must have good technical skills and experience, and have a thorough understanding of UK tax issues;

The team deals with a broad range of tax issues, including IHT/ CGT planning, non-dom & trusts, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning and succession planning.

Supporting the Directors and Partners, as a Corporate Tax Manager will be responsible for the following;

Build and maintain tax relationships with corporate clients and provide a high level of client service, with a focus on SME’s & OMB’s clients
Manage a client portfolio providing both corporate tax compliance and planning advice
Assisting with the management and development of the tax team workload and personnel.
Effectively manage, motivate, mentor and develop a team of qualified, part qualified and trainees through coaching and supervising.

Our client based in Rochester is looking for the following knowledge and qualifications:

ACCA/ACA qualified (CTA qualification would also be desirable, but study support can be provided to achieve this)
Our client will also consider candidate qualified by experience
Experience of working in a corporate tax team within an Accountancy Practice.
