This is a pivotal role, navigating the complexities of global taxation, ensuring compliance, and optimizing tax strategies for the business. Using your expertise to guide through tax planning, audit support as well as reporting, and strategy development. You will report directly to the Tax Director.
The role will cover
• Leading on international tax matters, including compliance, reporting, and strategy development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive tax-efficient structures.
• Provide expert advice on international tax implications of business proposals.
• Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation to align with global standards.
• Coordinate external audits and take the lead on some audits as assigned.
• Be a strong technical resource, and drive group initiatives relating to transfer pricing & M&A and tax structuring and strategy of projects.
Previous tax experience in a large multination would be beneficial
Based Greater Manchester (hybrid working min 1 day in office - will consider remote )
1-year Fixed Term Contract, covering a maternity leave.
