The Opportunity
We are looking for a Transfer Pricing Director to lead the client's growing transfer pricing services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-profile clients across a variety of industries, advising on complex transfer pricing issues and driving project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of client engagements, contribute to business development, and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

* Client Service Excellence: Manage a diverse portfolio of multinational clients, delivering high-quality transfer pricing services. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and identifying opportunities for additional support.
* Project Leadership: Lead and oversee a variety of advisory projects, including transfer pricing policy design, implementation, thin capitalisation analysis, M&A transactions, and expert witness litigation. Ensure timely delivery of comprehensive transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking analyses, and reviews.
* Team Development: Mentor and supervise junior team members, delegating tasks effectively while providing feedback and guidance. Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance the team's technical expertise.
* Business Development: Engage in business development activities by contributing to proposals, participating in client pitches, and attending networking events. Collaborate with the wider tax advisory team and other service lines to explore new opportunities and expand client offerings.
* Operational Management: Monitor work-in-progress and client billing to maintain commercial efficiency. Ensure adherence to risk management procedures and contribute to administrative tasks as needed.

More about you:

* Qualifications:

* Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CTA, ADIT), though other equivalent credentials will be considered.

* Experience:

* 4-7 years of experience in transfer pricing, preferably within a consulting or practice setting.
* Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of UK transfer pricing regulations and international standards.

* Skills & Competencies:

* Excellent project management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing workloads effectively.
* Proven ability to explain complex technical tax issues in a clear, practical manner to both specialists and non-specialists.
* Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Demonstrated experience in client relationship management and team leadership.
* Appetite for business development with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
