UK Tax Compliance Lead (Remote), to £100k

A global logistics group with a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors are recruiting a UK Tax Compliance Lead. This is an extremely high profile role, playing an integral role is leading the UK tax compliance. You will be leading a team of two, liaising with senior finance personnel and being the go-to contact for HMRC dealings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the company’s compliance with UK tax regulations including corporation tax, VAT, PAYE and other relevant taxes
• Oversee the preparation and submission of all tax returns and statutory filings on a timely basis
• Advise on tax implications of business decisions and transactions, providing strategic tax planning and risk management
• Managing tax audits and inquiries with HMRC, ensuring accurate and timely response
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax compliance

Requirements:
• ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified with Big 4/Top Tier training
• Ideally one move in-house with in-depth knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in tax accounting under IFRS and/or US GAAP
