The VAT team of professionals in Scotland is currently seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their ranks. This role involves helping clients identify opportunities and manage risks associated with indirect taxes, leveraging extensive sector experience and knowledge of global legal and regulatory systems
The Indirect Tax professionals are dedicated to providing pragmatic and commercially sound advice to clients, improving their day-to-day reporting for indirect tax. This includes optimizing working capital, reducing errors, minimizing costs, and ensuring accurate handling of indirect taxes such as VAT or GST. The team also offers guidance on how these taxes impact clients' supply chains, financial systems, and accounting practices.

Qualifications
To qualify for the role, candidates must have:
* Significant experience in VAT Tax gained from a prominent accounting firm or an in-house team.
* Relevant qualifications such as ATT/ACA/CA/Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course/Tax specialist qualification, or equivalent comprehensive tax knowledge.
Ideally, candidates will also possess:
* Project management skills, including planning, prioritization, budget monitoring, and meeting deadlines.
