Clark Wood are currently working with a Top 20 Firm who are looking for an VAT Manager in their London office.

As an VAT Manager your role will include:

Help the Partner in the day to day management of the practice. It requires a hand’s on role working with clients and colleagues.

This is an ideal role for an already Assistant Manager looking to take a step up and have significant responsibility in a technically challenging environment. There is opportunity to develop their career to the next level and play a pivotal role in the VAT department.

Providing an advisory service to clients and develop relationships with internal referrers and existing clients

Tale a proactive role in the management of the VAT department

Develop and manage more junior members of the team

Liaising with clients and HMRC

Monitoring deadlines and client obligations.

Our client in London is looking for the following skills:

Applicants must have prior VAT experience at manager or senior manager level in a professional services environment

A good understanding of VAT principles
