Associate Partner, Newcastle

A Tax Partner Associate role to work across the North East providing tax advice to companies and individuals on a range of technical areas relating mainly to UK Tax. This opportunity is ideal for a commercial, skilled entrepreneurial individual with extensive experience of OMBs within a mid-tier accountancy practice. This role presents an excellent challenge and genuine progression to partner level opportunity. You will supervise and manage a team of dedicated tax colleagues, pro-actively seek opportunities for clients, contribute to the strategy of the tax service line and demonstrate effective risk management in a similar senior position. As you would expect, the work will include complex bespoke planning; HMRC liaison; winning new work; presenting to clients and reviewing complex returns for individuals and companies. An interesting breadth covering company restructuring; shareholder tax planning; tax efficient share structuring; acquisition and disposal of private companies; tax due diligence and management buy-outs.
