Trusts Assistant Manager - Guildford, Surrey

Our client is a prestigious International firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors based in Guildford, who are currently looking to recruit within their Trust and Wealth team. The team work with some interesting and diverse clients including some UHNWIs and private families including a range of charitable organisations.

The Trust and Wealth Services Department of provides a range of services including; investment accounting and reporting, trust and charity accounting, administration and tax compliance, to a wide range of clients.

The department has identified the need to recruit due to internal promotion and increasing client numbers.

The successful candidate will have experience in trust accounting and trust tax for UK and offshore trusts, will be able to demonstrate that they have worked in an environment where it is necessary to deliver accurate information on a timely basis and will most likely be ACA, ACCA, CTA or STEP qualified.

The day to day work will involve a wide range of accounting skills, including:

The preparation of trust accounts and trust tax returns for UK and non UK trusts and estates.
The administration of these trusts, including liaising with trustees and other advisors.
The main criteria for any candidate applying for this position is a combination of trust accounting skills and sound onshore and offshore trust tax knowledge.
The candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have worked in an environment where it is necessary to deliver accurate information on a timely basis.
Extensive experience in trust accounting and all aspects of the trust tax

The local Guildford office is commutable from areas such as Godalming, Woking, Farnborough, Reading, Alton and Leatherhead etc.
