Head of Indirect Tax, Commodities Sector, London : £Six figures

● Newly created role in with a particular part of this global business, working in their London office.
● The brief is to lead Indirect Tax strategy for the business and ensure compliance.
● You’ll also provide expert Indirect Tax support as the business grows into new territories; build a strong risk management environment and drive process improvement.
● This would suit an experienced Indirect Tax professional, with well-honed collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to handle both VAT and Customs/Excise matters effectively.
● You’ll need the gravitas to have impact with a variety of stakeholders, but as you’ll be the sole Indirect Tax person in this part of the business, you’ll also need to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in!
● This role is fully office based (or largely so) for both cultural and work content reasons.
● Commodities/energy sector experience essential, as is a UK/European Indirect Tax career history – it’s a great role for a dynamic individual at the right level, keen to make their mark.
