EMEA Head of Indirect Tax - 6-12 months

EMEA Head of Indirect Tax interim indirect tax job in London requires an experienced EMEA or international Indirect Tax Director or Head of Indirect Tax, who has indirect tax compliance management and advisory experience across multiple jurisdictions.

Joining an international business with the focus on the EMEA region, the EMEA Head of Indirect Tax will report to the Head of EMEA Tax, and will lead 3 people. The company and finance function are going through a transformation, which this role will very much be part of, therefore, experience in having worked through a transformation is essential, to be able to demonstrate the resilience required and to develop the required processes.

As well as transforming the indirect tax processes, other duties will involve designing a tax control framework for indirect taxes and developing a strategy for the function. Developing an indirect tax cashflow reporting process with the support of the team is part of the agenda, as well as other compliance efficiency related duties, with the addition of business partnering on business activities and analysing the VAT position.

To be considered for this role it is essential to have worked to a senior level within indirect tax within a business(es) which are multinational and are large in scale. From this, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate leadership not only of an immediate team but also of transformation processes and thus of multi-stakeholders.
