Your key responsibilities as the Senior R&D Tax Manager
In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of R&D tax services, ensuring exceptional client outcomes. You will mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, you will provide high-quality service while managing expectations and identifying new opportunities. Internally, you will collaborate across the firm, while externally, you will contribute to business development by nurturing existing clients and securing new ones. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for daily client interactions, ensuring seamless communication and service excellence.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must have a degree in Engineering or Science, demonstrating a strong technical foundation. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a collaborative management approach, are essential. You should have prior experience in R&D tax and strong relationship management skills to effectively handle client expectations. A passion for emerging technologies across various industries is essential, along with strong technical expertise and a commitment to continuous development. Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to manage large and complex datasets, is crucial. Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior technical and finance professionals in one-on-one meetings are key.
