European Tax Compliance Manager job working for a PLC manufacturer involves a Senior Tax Manager or Tax Manager who has experience in tax reporting, corporate tax compliance, combined with statutory reporting, for this Tax Reporting Senior Tax Manager or Tax Manager job in London.
Sitting in the Shared Service Centre of this hugely international business, the European Tax Compliance Manager will liaise with the statutory accounting team and the tax team, uniquely positioned to assist both areas in the reporting regulations and requirements.
This is a 12 months contract commencing in January/early February 2025 and it will involve project managing the European corporate tax compliance and statutory accounts preparation with the outsourced provider ensuring time frames are met, queries are sorted out and any additional tax calculations are completed. The scope of work also involves working with the outsourced provider and Group Tax to make sure tax reporting and local statutory accounts are on time and accurate. Additional project and ad hoc duties will involve ensuring continued analysis of improvement to systems and processes, and any legislation changes are influenced in these, along with governance and risk reviews.
A pivotal role in the Shared Service Centre and for Group Tax, the successful candidate will have experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, preparing year end tax provisions and knowledge of IFRS. As may be gleaned from the role description, interpersonal skills are key with the confidence to speak with different internal stakeholders and external third parties.
