EMEA Indirect Tax Reporting interim indirect tax job in London requires an experienced indirect tax specialist who has EMEA experience across processes and systems.
Joining an in-house tax team who are located in various European locations, this role reports to the UK based Head of Indirect Tax who has an EMEA remit, and this is a project role supporting in the development and deficiencies of the indirect tax processes.
The aim of the role is to ensure that the company's systems and processes are compliant with local VAT laws, and that the data used for the indirect tax compliance is accurate.
To achieve this, it will be required to work with IT teams to ensure VAT changes are reflected in systems, and improving data quality through IT change requests. At every stage of the role, pro-activity is required in seeking opportunities to improve the indirect tax processes.
To be considered for this role, it is required to have indirect tax expertise in either a similar role or in a compliance focused position which had an emphasis in systems and reporting.
Largely remote working is on offer in this role, with either regular or ad hoc time spent in the central London office.
