You will be working for one of the South Coast's leading legal practice firms within their busy Private Client team (Tax, Trusts and Wills) in the Bournemouth office.
You will be playing a key role in advising clients on the law surrounding private client tax issues and will need to have previous experience in private client/personal tax ideally, although the client will consider someone with a more varied background in accountancy practice who would be keen to specialise in tax. Some exposure to trust work would be a bonus but is not essential. You should be able to manage a case load and advise clients, draft client documentation, respond to enquiries from new clients giving further information about the firm's services and cross-reference to other relevant fee earners, research new issues to find appropriate and creative solutions for clients.
You will be highly motivated, proactive and outcome-orientated with a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure, on your own initiative, with minimum supervision and run your own case load. You should have excellent time management skills, marketing and business development skills at all levels, along with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. The firm is looking for someone who shares their commitment, enthusiasm and passion to do the very best for their clients, as they are committed to putting clients and colleagues first.
In return, you will receive a highly competitive salary and benefits package, along with market-led training and personal development to help you achieve your aims and objectives. Not a timesheet in sight! Study support for ATT or CTA can be provided.
If this sounds like the sort of opportunity you are looking for, and you have the required experience in an accountancy practice firm, then please apply now or contact Debbie Stent on 07900 224915 to find out more about this exciting new role.
Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship for overseas employees cannot be provided for this role.
