In-house Tax Specialist - South Manchester

A fantastic opportunity to join a large multinational to be based in Stockport and working with an existing in-house tax team. You will be responsible for the completion of direct tax returns and reporting, including managing external tax advisers in Ireland for CT compliance.

As well as advising on direct tax matters, including transfer pricing, business re-orgs, merger & acquisitions , and divestment projects and looking at efficient tax structures. Other areas of work will include - Senior Accounting Officer, DAC6 reporting, Country by Country reporting.

You will need - Strong tax technical skills in UK Corporation Tax, and be capable of independently handling complex tax matters.

The role would suit someone looking for a change of environment outside of the large accounting firms but without compromising on the quality of work. Alternatively you may have moved in-house already and be after a new challenge, perhaps a better location or even reduced hours ( as 4 day is very much a possibility for the right person). Equally it could be a great 1st move as there is plenty of support and opportunity for growth.
