Role Overview:

As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you'll be part of a dynamic and growing Corporate Tax Team in Manchester. Our client is seeking an ambitious, confident individual with excellent corporate tax knowledge to join them. Your primary responsibility will be managing a portfolio of clients across various sectors, delivering top-notch corporate tax services and leading a team of talented professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and high-quality tax advice.
* Review tax provisions and final tax computations, prepare advisory work on diverse business tax issues, and manage WIP and billing for your clients.
* Manage and develop a team, delivering appraisals and fostering their growth through training and mentoring.
* Engage in special assignments, such as due diligence, tender proposals and resolving complex tax queries.
* Contribute to their marketing initiatives and train staff on corporate tax matters.

Person Specification:

* Qualifications: ACA/CA/CTA or equivalent
* Proven skills gained in practice, with a thorough understanding of corporate tax principles
* Excellent communication skills, ability to manage a large client portfolio and proficiency in dealing with tax advisory matters
* Up-to-date technical skills, good Excel skills and experience with Alphatax (CCH experience is a plus)
