Your new company
My client is a well established company, a leader in its field, and a subsidiary of a renowned global brand with an excellent reputation. Their global reach means their offering is established in over 50 countries and is constantly expanding into new territories. A new role is available to join a tax team of 5 as a Corporate Tax Manager.

Your new role
You will:

* Provide practical, technical advice (covering all applicable taxes) to divisional finance teams and overseas branches/subsidiaries on how to structure business initiatives (both in UK and overseas).
* Provide tax input for acquisitions, disposals, or restructuring of group businesses.
* Ensure that all group businesses comply with local tax requirements, including utilising an online tracking tool where relevant, and act in a way that is consistent with protecting the name and reputation of the Group.
* Assist with group transfer pricing, including commissioning benchmarking studies or advance clearance projects if required.
* Manage the preparation of UK subsidiaries' corporation tax returns, non-resident return for India and the US Form 990 and deal with any queries
* Collate global data, prepare and submit CbCR annually
* Manage the group's monthly and annual tax reporting cycle and report to the Tax Director on effective tax rates, variances and development of issues.
* Prepare the group's tax proof and handle auditor queries as appropriate.
* Assist with monitoring the chief tax risks worldwide, along with proposals for their evaluation and mitigation and managing major tax issues in conjunction with local management, ensuring that any significant litigation or dialogue with tax authorities is managed to provide optimal outcomes.
* Assist with the management of significant tax issues arising in the UK and the Group, in conjunction with local Finance Directors, balancing legislative with commercial needs
* Implement the relevant elements of the agreed tax strategy.
* Input to tax reports for Group Audit Committee.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified ACA, ACCA or CTA, be a first mover from Practice at a senior level, or have already gained in house experience within a tax function. You will be able to work with other teams within the business towards a common goal.
