Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to focus on Operational Transfer Pricing Technology in the UK. The company's Operational Transfer Pricing team assists clients in implementing their transfer pricing policies more efficiently and effectively by embedding them into their processes and financial systems. The team works across different services and with a diverse range of clients. The role is at the senior manager level and can be based in any of the company's UK offices. The new Senior Manager will work directly with the UK Operational TP Leader, the Operational TP team, and Global Tax and TP Leadership in developing priority Transfer Pricing technology assets and delivering cutting-edge solutions to clients. The candidate will have the opportunity to join a team that is growing at a very fast pace and help the team continue to shape the company's technology offering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, such as assessing, designing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions for clients' intercompany set up. You will work with senior team members to convert transfer pricing policies and needs into business and functional specifications and requirements. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to supplement ERP TP-related capabilities with additional technology tools, based on the client's use case and problem statement. You will also lead the team in the delivery of transfer pricing aspects of company-wide transformation programs and drive technical training on finance systems architecture to the core Operational TP team.
The ideal candidate should have an ACA or CTA or ACCA or equivalent qualification and a track record of implementing cutting-edge solutions. You should have direct exposure to ERP and EPM implementation of intercompany/trading partner solutions, preferably within an Oracle or SAP environment. Furthermore, you should have extensive working knowledge of management and financial reporting and their interconnections, excellent stakeholder management skills, and knowledge and understanding of intercompany processes and broader tax processes.
The candidate should also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss Operational TP topics and adapt style/content based on the audience. A CIMA qualification is a plus.
