VAT Director - Quick Progression to Partner! Thames Valley

Are you an experienced VAT Director seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive environment? Look no further, one of the top 10 accountancy firms in the UK are looking for an exceptional candidate to join their team as a VAT Director in Reading or Southampton.

In this role, you will take a leading role in the strategic development of VAT in the Reading and Thames Valley market. Working closely with the Southern and national VAT leadership teams, you will have responsibility for managing a local team, growing our presence in the local market, and ensuring the delivery of client engagements meets our high standards of quality and service.

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience of working at Associate Director or Director level within VAT, with either current or prior advisory experience gained in a practice environment and with corporate clients. You will have a proven track record of winning work and be able to lead on targeted business development and marketing activities to build the firm's profile and attract new business in the local market. You will provide an excellent standard of VAT advisory services to a portfolio of clients and lead on complex cases while supporting junior team members where appropriate. In addition, you will build and maintain long-lasting stakeholder relationships with client contacts at all levels of seniority across engagements.
