A Real Estate Tax Associate Director job opportunity is available in the UK. The position is with a global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms that comprises over 600,000 individuals in more than 130 countries. They are seeking an Associate Director to join their Real Estate Tax team.
The Real Estate Tax team prides itself on its ability to help transform clients' real estate into greater assets. They offer tax structuring, tax compliance, and tax due diligence advice to a diverse range of organizations, including real estate funds, global institutional investors, REITs, private investors, and the public sector. The team provides their services to all real estate sectors, including commercial, office, student housing, industrial logistics, retail, and hotels.
In this role, the Associate Director will be part of a high-performing team with a lot of tenure within the firm and the sector. You will be responsible for developing more junior team members and working with the largest names in the market on some of the most interesting projects around. This includes multi-jurisdictional transactions across real estate and infrastructure, with current transactions in the £60m, £250m, and £500m ranges and recent deals over £1bn. The growing number of large clients now working with the company means there are huge opportunities for rapid promotion at all levels.
The ideal candidate will have ACA / ACCA / CTA qualifications or equivalent and UK corporate tax experience, ideally within the Real Estate sector. You will have experience monitoring junior team members' work and coaching/career development. Preferably, they will also have experience in the UK Real Estate market, demonstrable Business Development experience, including working collaboratively with Partner and Director teams to build relationships on key accounts.
The successful candidate will have a variety of skills, including tax structuring, international tax advice and due diligence services on cross-border transactions, participation in and leadership of business development initiatives and proposal activity, tax compliance advising clients about ongoing tax requirements, and setting up property funds, including UK Real Estate Investment Trusts.
