Senior Employment Tax Specialist – FTSE – Hybrid

We are currently hiring a Senior Employment Tax Specialist for a FTSE listed retail group based in Central London. Offering an enticing bonus package and the opportunity to develop your management and international tax skillset, this position will not be on the market for long.

The company are offering hybrid working with 2 days in the office a week.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the employment tax returns process, ensuring that working with HMRC is conducted in a timely and professional manner
- Acting as the first port of call for employment tax matters across the group
- Forming a close working relationship with tax authorities for any employment tax or share scheme enquiries, in addition to handling audits
- Leading a growing team, allowing members to develop and maintaining a productive, friendly culture

We are keen to hear from candidates with:

- ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification (preferred not required)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Thorough knowledge of employment tax
- Experience of share scheme reporting is highly beneficial
- The ability to take lead of a team
- Working experience of Microsoft Excel
- Confident attitude, ready to challenge ideas and bring your own to the table
