Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
London To £58,000
If you don't want to compromise on the quality of your work but want to cover a range of technical issues and advise across various industry sectors, this non Big 4 should be top of your list.
The team has continued to witness significant client activity both via new instructions and existing mandates. They offer a portfolio of UK and international clients, and you will get involved in complex compliance as well as advisory projects. These could cover advising on re-structuring, mergers and acquisitions, the establishment of overseas subsidiaries etc.
You will work as part of a team, and the emphasis is very much on 'team', with plenty of support from all sides to ensure that you can develop your skills. Promotion is entirely on merit. The firm is transparent about what is required for your next stage and as soon as you have ticked the boxes, you'll be moved into the next grade.
You will have gained a good grounding in corporate tax. No previous international tax experience is necessary, but an interest in it definitely is. You could be at a Big 4 firm looking for more responsibility, more opportunity to work more closely with both the clients and more experienced tax specialists, and in a firm where you are more than a number and your career development is important and supported.
You could be at a smaller firm looking to build on your existing experience, interested in working with larger clients and looking for somewhere with plenty of scope for promotion.
